About Margaret

Margaret is currently an associate director for Vanity Fair, working under Condé Nast Entertainment. She leads social video development and production for the magazine, working with A-list actors and musicians, as well as behind-the-scenes costume designers and other personnel. As a K-pop fanatic, she's helped to produce and lead research for K-pop videos for the brand. She's also grown the brand's TikTok audience to 1M followers in a year.

Previously, she was a social media editor at The Wall Street Journal where she grew the Instagram account from 1.5M to 3.7M followers. She also produced videos with reporters, athletes, CEOs, musicians, and other celebrities. She primarily focused on digital storytelling through animation.

She also founded and managed The Avocado Dream, an Instagram magazine which calculates home prices in terms of avocado toasts for Curbed, a Vox Media (now New York Magazine) brand. She's been interviewed by Digiday and Nieman Lab as an expert in Instagram strategy.

Outside of the office, she enjoys hanging out with strangers' dogs and getting to know the personalities of the neighborhood cats.
